The Economic Zone Utilities Company “Sczone Utilities Company” is an Egyptian joint-stock company established in 2019 with the approval of the Egyptian Cabinet. The company is a partnership between the Suez Canal Economic Zone Authority, Elsewedy Electric, and the Main Development Company (a subsidiary of the Authority).
The Sczone Utilities Company serves as the operational arm in the areas of construction, electrical & water distribution, and management, operation, and maintenance of utilities.
To maintain the Suez Canal and its surrounding territories as a world-class hub for economic, industrial, commercial, and logistical activity by establishing a strong infrastructure that meets the most stringent global standards, allowing the authority to achieve its goals.
Is located in the upper part of the Gulf of Suez on the Red Sea on the western coast of the Gulf of Suez.
Is situated on the Northern entrance of the Suez Canal, it is considered one of the main Egyptian ports.
Is located on the eastern coast of Suez gulf, Land Area 100,000M2, with Sheltered yard 5600 M2
Is located on the Mediterranean Sea at the north east of Sinai, After executing the port current development works, with Total Area of 65000 M2
Is located alongside the Suez Canal, Endowed with sheltered deep water facilities capable of accommodating large vessels.
Egypt’s main gateway to the GCC, East Africa and Asia with an area of 22 Km2.
Industrial Development zone with an area of 210 Km supporting light, medium and heavy manufacturing activities, as well as commercial and business activities. Capacity to host over 85K jobs.
East Ismailia industrial area (Tech. Valley) occupies a strategic location on the East Bankof the Suez Canal in the center of East Qantara with a total area of 70 km2 on the East axis directly, and 10 Km from the Suez Canal axis, 3 kilometers from Ismailia new tunnels.
East Port-Said (EPS) industrial zone is on a total area of 63 KM² designated to receive various manufacturing activities and a wide range of industrial clusters
The West Qantara benefits from proximity to the fertile Delta and is ideal for Agribusiness. Currently, 13.6 KM2 are available for development.
The Suez Canal is approximately 120 miles (193 kilometers) long.
The canal has a maximum depth of around 79 feet (24 meters).
